Fallen Fruits Sketchbook

In the Tay tribe I come from, we believe in harmony between humans and nature, both in life and in death. In my Fallen Fruits sketchbook, I combine direct painting with cutouts from my loose sketches, expressing a desire to transform my physical form into fruits and flowers while seeking harmony with my body and finding peace in my skin. As I wrote in a poem: 'Hopefully, we'll be reborn | As the humble fallen fruits | Underneath a tree.'
